Fit and garment measurements

Fit starts with the exact piece.

TI YA RA does not use one universal chart across every form. Begin with the selected product and size, then compare its finished garment measurements with a similar piece you already wear.

No account or JavaScript is needed to read approved product measurements. The optional guest fit check is a separate guide and never replaces the finished garment information.

Start here

Use the product-specific fit panel.

A size label on its own cannot describe every material, construction or proportion. The product page is the public source for approved measurements for that exact piece.

  1. Open the exact piece

Choose the product and selected size you are considering. If approved measurements are available, the page shows a panel named “Fit for this piece”.

  2. Read the garment label

Check whether each value is a circumference, flat width or length, together with its condition and tolerance.

  3. Compare a similar garment

Lay a similarly shaped piece flat without stretching it and follow the measurement method shown on the product page.

Product-specific route Explore templewear, choose a piece, then check whether its approved fit panel is available.

Two different truths

Garment measurements are not body measurements.

Keep the labels distinct when you compare. A garment normally includes ease and construction space around the body.

Finished garment

What the piece measures

These values come from the approved specification for one product and size. The product panel states the point measured, dimension form, condition and displayed tolerance.

Use these values to compare one garment with another garment.

Body guide

What you measure on yourself

These methods describe where to place a soft tape on the body. Use only the body points requested for the selected product. Height may give length context, but it never substitutes for a girth measurement.

Use these values only with guidance for the exact piece.

Body measurement method

Measure close to the body, without pulling tight.

Stand naturally and keep the tape level. Record the value in centimetres and repeat it if the tape moves.

Chest or bust

Pass the tape around the fullest point of the chest or bust, keeping it level with the floor.

Natural waist

Measure around the natural waist where the torso folds when you bend gently to one side.

Full hip or seat

Pass the tape around the fullest point of the hips and seat, with feet together and the tape level.

Height

Stand without shoes and measure from the floor to the top of the head. Use height only when the product asks for length context.

When product data is unavailable

An absent table is not permission to guess.

If a product page does not show a finished garment table, approved measurements for that piece are not available on the storefront. We will not replace them with a generic range or an automatic recommendation.

Write to the Temple with the exact product name and selected size. A person can confirm what evidence is available and help you decide what to compare before ordering.
